Racist, Sexist or Stupid!
After applying for a permit to peacefully assembly and hand out flyers on Columbus Day 10/13 at 2:30 in opposition to Obama raising funds at PSU. We recieved the following scathing remarks along with our permit. email me for info BJ@Free-US-Now.com
Judge for yourself what this candidate has brought to the table and how this kind of vitriol and rancor bodes for uniting the country. How all of a sudden just asking for a Constitutional Right warrants this kind of reaction from those to who we apply to for a simple permit to assemble.
Out of the blue this council member decided that we were either racist or sexist or just plain stupid because we were not voting for Obama! Imagine that! I dare not tell you what I think of her right now - so tell me whaddayathink?
“Yes Ms. Matthews you do have a permit. However, just let me say
as a woman “of certain age” as your colleague put it, that I find your
political stance to be unbelievably short sighted at best, and perhaps
bigoted at worst.
There is no doubt in my mind that there is no way that any actual
Democrat (that includes Senator Clinton) would want John McCain,
or the largely untested Governor Palin to follow the overtly anti-education
and patently incompetent Bush administration. I vote for women based
on their abilities. Sarah Palin gets elected, and then leaves behind huge
budget deficits — just like George Bush. Getting elected is not enough
– doing a good job is far more important.
In a national election when the person I back is beaten in the primary I
suck it up and work with the winner. Our country has a complex system,
but it can work. I vote for the party platform; when I don’t accept that
platform I vote for another party. In a local or regional election I vote for
the individual who most matches my beliefs regardless of party. There
is no way that McCain/Palin in any way match those of Hillary Clinton.
So, either you chose women based on their reproductive organs only;
or you won’t vote for a non-white no matter his abilities and potential.
Either is a travesty. Susan B. Anthony would tell you Suffrage is not a
license to vote for incompetence; but rather to use your brain, not your
ovaries to make a decision. She worked hard to prove our intelligence,
you fight to prove her wrong. How sad.”

My hope is that your retort to this person was scathing. I actually agree with her as far as support ...What I personally find appaling is that in a postion of power she chose to make these remarks to you. Her opinion shoild have no impact on whether or not a permit was issued. Bullies can only win if one allows them to do so;I trust that you handed out your flyers. -

And they say men bully! Be sure and tell "Mother" Teresa that I'm missing some of those organs and I don't need em to figure out that BHO is not the president for me. It wouldn't matter to me if he was black or green, he lacks character and is so far to the left I can't even see him. Teresa says "when the person I back is beaten...I suck it up and work for the winner." However, I'm not conviced he was a true winner and beyond that I'm not a sheep and she's not a Border Collie! I'm with ya! -

Bullying has been their signature all along-- caucuses, rallies--Acorn is a big fan of bullying. Obamaniacs leave their signature on anyone or anything they've just trampled, like Zorro, only it's not an elegant Z but a giant O--remind you of something? -

My question to that woman would be: When the Party does not follow their own Platform, then where does one go? When the Party does not play fair amongst themselves what can we hope for the Platform in the future? Playing fair does not only mean play fair when you're winning, but playing ethically fair throughout the competition. I believe it is called integrity. The Democratic Party, through their efforts to elect an unqualified candidate, have torn the Party into pieces. They may win this election, but they've opened the eyes of millions who now see this leadership for what they really are. -

So, sexism is ok but racism is not? Has anyone heard about this incident? Please spread this to your friends and family- as we have all learned recently- it is ok to bash women but not minorities (I am not for either but for some reason misogyny is accepted) http://cbs2.com/local/Sarah.Palin.mannequin.2.849299.html
